BIBA is always busy. Brokers arrive with packed diaries, limited headspace and more invitations than time allows – which is why we have brought our team to you for the duration of this event.

What makes us different from the competition?  What really sets us apart from the competition is our approach to supporting policyholders. We don’t just step in when something goes wrong; we focus on helping businesses avoid issues in the first place. Through a range of proactive tools and services, we support our clients on a day-to-day basis, helping them reduce risk, stay compliant and ultimately lower the likelihood of claims or fines. It’s about being a partner in prevention, not just a provider in response.

Duane Folkard – Cyber Lead Underwriter

Focus: Cyber


What I get asked most:


On my most recent conversations, it’s the same as David. Why us? What makes us different from the other MGAs? I answer in the same way. We focus on pre- and post-breach, with all the proactive tools and governance guidance and the direct phone line into privileged advice via our specialist lawyers in rradar. As David said, it’s about being a partner in prevention not just ‘we have a policy in place’ and that’s what makes us stand apart.

How do clients get access to rradar’s services through the policy?  Clients get full and unlimited to rradar’s legal advisory service and digital tools from the moment cover is bound. There is no limitation to the number of users a client can register.

What I get asked most:


I’m often asked why proactive risk management is so important in Cyber and Management Liability. The reality is that early intervention can significantly reduce the impact of a claim – and in some cases, prevent one altogether.
Many claims start as issues that could have been managed earlier, such as employment concerns, regulatory queries or the early stages of a cyber incident. With rradar embedded in our policies, clients have immediate access to practical legal advice, which encourages them to act sooner. That early action can make a real difference to the outcome.

 

We will also be joined by James Barnett, Broker Development, from rradar. 


James will be focused on sharing information about the embedded legal and risk services available as part of rrelentless policies. 


I'm at BIBA to shout from the rooftops about the rradar services embedded in rrelentless policies.  I'm looking to connect with brokers, new and old, and set up sessions to help brokers educate their clients on how to maximise their use of these embedded services.  The thing I get asked the most is still "Are you sure all that service is at no additional cost for policyholders?"  The answer is yes – and I am here to explain that benefit to you.
