As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive our next phase of expansion across the North.
Key responsibilities
As Business Development Manager, you will identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across rrelentless’ full range of products and services. A key focus of the role will be building strong partnerships within the Northern region, supporting our growth ambitions and strengthening our market presence.
Working closely with the Head of Business Development and our Marketing team, you will shape and deliver a proactive strategy for generating new leads, nurturing relationships, and securing new partnerships. As rradar continues its ambitious growth journey, this role offers significant scope to develop your career and influence our regional strategy.
Required skills and qualifications
You will bring experience in building trusted relationships, delivering against ambitious sales targets, and uncovering new opportunities. You’re commercially minded, confident engaging with multiple stakeholders, and motivated by the challenge of growing a dynamic, innovative business.
Essential skills:
Proven experience in a sales‑focused role within Commercial Insurance, Commercial Broking, or a related sales environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently and develop compelling pitches.
High levels of self‑motivation, with the ability to independently source, develop, and convert new business opportunities, and manage onboarding through to go‑live.
Desirable skills:
Knowledge of the Commercial General Insurance market.
Understanding of Cyber Insurance, Management Liability Insurance, or Directors & Officers Liability Insurance.
